Not only do I applaud the fact that these pyramids are plastic free, and the packaging is compostable, but the variety of teas is wide, well thought out and very enjoyable.
We are taking time to relax each afternoon to enjoy the selection one at a time. It's hard to choose a favourite because they are all amazing. Our next order will be massive!
Bought this as a present for a friend and to say it went down well would be a tad mild for the reaction it received as they had tried w couple of the teas before and had wanted to give them all a go to find some favourites
Love love love this sampler set, you can taste the full range of Shibui tea. The tea is absolutel fabulous (still making our way through it!) and is a fantastic idea for making your own tea advent calendar. We will be buying more!
The table below shows the approximate brewing/infusing times for the different tea types.
It assumes around a 2.5 to 3g serving but it is not an exact science so experiment to find the perfect brew time to suit you.
It is best to use freshly boiled water - so if you've got some water left in your kettle from before - pour it out and start again!

If you don't have a fancy kettle which heats the water to different temperatures then a tip to for brewing green & white teas is to put the boiling water into the teapot or mug first and then add the tea. It will have cooled down a bit just by touching the cold teapot. That's what I do anyway...
