Welcome to Shibui Tea.

We are a small team of friendly and hard-working folk who do love a good cuppa!

We’re on the lookout for a like minded person to join the fun at our Edinburgh warehouse.

There is a lot going on at Shibui – we’re a growing business and need someone who doesn’t mind getting stuck in; who buys into our brand and wants to help take us to the next level.

This is a very exciting opportunity to join an independent small business. Being small means that you’ll see all areas of what we do and be involved with lots of interesting projects. We’re always looking at new blends so you’ll get to try lots of different teas plus we’ll always open to new ideas.

There are two arms to the business: wholesale – where we sell to cafes, restaurants and hotels; and also online – where we sell direct to the consumer. Both are equally important and we’re pushing to grow both markets.

Experience is helpful but not necessary, but an appreciation of tea is a must!

Role: Distribution Manager

Duties include
• Preparing and dispatching orders for both wholesale and online
• Preparing and labelling different products
• Liaising with customers – both on the phone and online
• Assisting with new and existing projects such as customer subscriptions, tea clubs and our advent calendar
• Stock control and management
• Maintaining food standards and hygiene – we’re SALSA certified
• Identifying potential wholesale customers
• Assisting with tea tasting for new blends
• Potential for social media involvement
• Potential for food show / festival involvement

…and of course taking your turn making the tea & bringing in the biscuits.
