Breakfast Decaf

Loved the tea.. great flavour, delicate but with enough body to make the decaf a very satisfying and refreshing brew.

The service and personal touches from shibui are impeccable and I am an advocate and (now) a repeat and happy customer!

Keep up the good work guys.. don’t lose sight of your principles (great tasting tea).. and you have client for life.

Comparing this to the assam decaf this has more of a fruity aroma out the bag & a slightly less bolder taste but still very good flavour. Usually made with almond & oat blend, I rinse leaves after bewing and get a 3rd decent cup out of every 2. I use about 2 heaped teaspoons in a standard cup but the 3rd combo brew needs a larger one.

This is the second time purchasing decaf tea from shibui and it is light, full of flavour and brews a perfect cup every time. I allow it to brew for 3 minutes and always have a perfect cuppa.
Arrives promptly too and well packaged.

As with the other decaf teas from shibui this has excellent flavour and is very easy to drink. Would anyone be able to tell this is decaf in a blind taste? Great value although appreciate this is more expensive than supermarket loose tea but it is way superior. Hence good value in my opinion.

I first tried this tea at a local cafe and was so taken with it I had to ask them where it came from. This is the most delicious decaf tea I have had and inspired me to buy a tea pot and switch to loose leaf tea at home.

Enjoying this tea, though having to increase strength significantly as tea is much lighter flavour than I would have expected from a black, English breakfast tea. Nevertheless I do appreciate its complexity.

We have been looking for a loose tea decaffeinated in the least harmful way and this one fits the bill.
A flavourful tea without the harshness found in the cheaper versions.
We let it brew for 5 minutes to get the best from it.
We will be ordering more.

This is by far the best decaf tea I have found. I have even converted my wider family onto drinking decaf! Works great in both a reusable tea bag and a pot. Love that there is the bulk buy option!
