Tea Bags

Chocolate & Tea go so well together so we've introduced a simple gift pack with your choice of tea in our biodegradable tea bags and a bar of Bare Bones chocolate.

You can also add a custom greeting card too.

Each tube contains 15 tea bags and you can choose any one from the following:

Black Teas: English Breakfast, English Breakfast Decaf, Earl Grey, Earl Grey Decaf, Masala Chai, Mulled Spice Organic, Scottish Breakfast, Vanilla Rose, Chocolate Orange Puerh, Gardener's Grey.

White Tea: White Peony

Green Teas: Chun Mee Organic, Sencha, Jasmine Organic, Moroccan Mint, Tropical Green, Jasmine Pearls, Matcha & Sencha Organic.

Herbal Infusions: Chamomile, Peppermint, Chocolate & Ginger, Chamomile & Citrus, Lemongrass & Ginger, Organic Spearmint.

Rooibos Infusions: Rooibos Organic, Blueberry Rooibos, Chocolate Chai Rooibos (African Winter), Rooibos & Orange Organic, Vanilla Rooibos.

Fruit Infusion: Berry Hibiscus.

All of the teas are in plastic free packaging - the clear wrappers are compostable and the tea bags are biodegradable. All can be put in with your food waste. The tube and lid are recyclable.

Then choose your Bare Bones chocolate - each is a 70g bar - choose from:

Madagascar 70% Dark (yellow)
Honduras 55% Milk (pink)
Guatemala 65% Dark (green/blue)
Dominican 68% Salted (black)
Honduras 59% Milk with Ethiopian Coffee (dark blue)
Philippines 70% Dark (white packaging)

Then the final step is to choose a greetings card - leave your message and we'll print it onto the card for you.

Shipping is free for both subscription orders and non-subscription orders over £35 with Royal Mail, or £3.95 for orders under.

Express delivery is £7 and we ship with DHL, DPD and Royal Mail 24 (depending on the weight of the parcel). Express delivery is available for next working day delivery; orders cannot be delivered on Saturdays or Sundays.

I bought a tea and chocolate set as a gift for a friend. This gift has become a staple for me for present ideas as the quality is great and you can choose your combination of tea and chocolate so it can be personalised to the friend you are gifting.

New Starter

I was fed up with the same bland t bags I was using and after a visit to a local deli I tried 'leaf tea' . I was overwhelmed and was advised to try Shi Bui. I took a risk and ordered a black tea taster. I'm now hooked and honestly my health is better. Good tea is good health

A lovely Easter treat

Bare Bones chocolate is already a favourite and the Tropical Green tea is delicious

Best Earl Grey EVER!

Discovered Shibui Earl Grey by chance in the Bike Shed Café and simply had to have some at home. I've been an Earl Grey drinker for over 30 years and can honestly say Shibui is by far and above the best I've ever had. Knocks the spots off all the supposed big name brands.

Gift

Bought this rooibos and chocolate combo as a Valentine's gift for my very good friend. She absolutely loved it. I thought the lovely card with it was a nice touch. Absolutely value for money too.

A perfect combo

The lemongrass and ginger tea is my favourite, but this was my first tasting of the divine Bare Bones chocolate. I'd definitely recommend the chocolate - it's very moreish (the tea's my favourite, so gets my recommendation already!). I'll happily be trying the different flavours if chocolate - for "research purposes"!!

Father’s Day tea!

This was a perfect gift for my husband from our children on Father’s Day. The tea is so fresh tasting and the smell is delightful. The chocolate was not quite to his taste- hence 4 stars. But this is due to preference- not a reflection of shibui! Overall- a lovely gift, great price and prompt delivery. Thank you!

Fantastic product

Beautifully crafted chamomile tea with quality ingredients- it makes such a pretty gift. The customer service is fantastic and responsive.

Disappointed with changes to individually wrapped version

Very disappointed with changes in ingredients. I don't use sugar so difference is very noticeable to me.
I was always buying individually wrapped version as it had pieces of pineapple and mainly no ginger as other versions had so I have blindly reordered as before expecting same thing.
Unfortunately now no more pineapple piecesbut flavourings instead 🫤
And addition of ginger made it a bit bitter.
Not sure if family would still like to drink it as their breakfast tea. I'm sure it would be still ok for those especially who use sugar. Sugar will mask it all but for me not so much.. Wish I have noticed changes before purchase. Sad as will need to look for new favourite..

Nice

I really like this oolong.
Ti Kuan Yin is nice clean oolong with great taste as I feel that some other oolongs are bit muddy and lacking on taste.
This one is one of my favourites so I recommend if you are into oolong teas.
Waiting for Shibui to introduce more oolong teas in the future..

Good everyday breakfast tea

The Scottish breakfast tea is nice and rounded but less strong and malty than I expected, hence only four stars from me.

Subtle and balanced flavours

Rooibos and Orange is one of my favourites. The Orange flavour is not too overpowering. I mix mine with Rooibos Vanilla and the combination is perfect imho. Will order again.

Sweet winter warmer

I love the new Apple Cinnamon Rooibos. It is naturally sweet and mellow and I have mine with a splash of oat milk. It is my new go-to evening tea.
