This tea is both energising and comforting. Tasting notes of toasted nuts, petrol, tropical fruits, boiled peanuts. Once you've tasted this unfortunately there's no going back to generic supermarket 'green' teabags!!
A deliciously pleasant and drinkable black tea. Aromas of toasted wood, sugar, slight hint of smoke, whisky and cocoa powder. Flavour is well-rounded, sweet and mineral. Notes of honeyed vanilla and leather.
A delicate yet malty black tea I highly recommend! Tastes amazing with a touch of honey added. I can't imagine any tea drinker disliking this tea.
The densely rolled leaves mean that a little goes a long way with this tea! If you're new to oolongs (like me), the experience of this tea might seem a little 'unfriendly' at first.. but I have truly grown to love this. I tasted notes of mulch, petrol, cured meat, popcorn, apricots and jasmine. It's fascinating how the taste profile changes over multiple infusions.
This tea is crisp, clear and refreshing with a well-rounded depth. Tasting notes of honey jasmine and melon. With multiple infusions taste profile is deeper, more vegetal and less floral. This tea is a true crowd-pleaser.
What a great value-for-money way to sample multiple teas! The white peony is crisp and clear (notes of honey jasmine and melon) but with well-rounded depth. The oolong is complex, with toasted and oily vegetal notes. The Dragonwell is a deliciously nutty green tea with notes of boiled peanuts and tropical fruits. The Yunnan is a beautifully delicate black tea. Similarly, the Keemun has an aroma of sugar and whisky, and has a sweet and mineral flavour.
Really nice pu-erh that starts off with earthy, woody and honey notes. With multiple infusions becomes fruitier with sweet notes of prunes and vanilla. An absolute comfort tea - would definitely repurchase.
Bought this as a present for someone, and also purchased some for my self. I like my tea quite strong so I was pleasantly surprised. A tasty and refreshing brew.
