I wouldn’t call myself a connoisseur, but my morning tea is all about ritual. The perfect teapot, the perfect cup, taken with time and as much mindfulness as the newspapers will permit. I discovered Shibui only a few months ago and it’s made it to the pot every morning since. It makes my day.
I’ve tried lots of decaf breakfast tea and this one is the best so far.
Just want you to know that yours is by far the best peppermint tea on the market.
The taste is so fresh and you can really taste the mint.
No horrible after taste, like other makes.

Whilst staying in a Ryokan in Kyoto we were served delicious green tea - the best I’ve had. Upon returning home I asked the Ryokan staff what the tea was - they told me Kasigane. I was delighted to find a UK supplier in Shibui. The tea is just as remembered - smooth with no bitterness and a delicate flavour. Totally recommend trying it.
Lovely blend of flavours, gentle spice but not over powering. Caffeine free so perfect for drinking in the evening

I have drank peppermint tea for over 16 years I have tried hundreds from around the world and can honestly say this is the best. Absolutely love it.
Tried this in a local cafe, loved it and asked what the brand was. Still go to the cafe all the time but have our own supply at home now as well!
