This is my favourite tea in the world, I have it every day to start my day. It is so delicate and toasty!

Having visited Japan, I wanted a good tea that could come close to some of the special ones we tried whilst out there. This Genmaicha is the closest I've tried, tastes very good, nice and light, not bitter at all, and the aroma of the toasted rice adds so much to the drink. Also love how there's no dust in there compared to most - it's all proper tea!
Price very reasonable too, I'll be sure to try some more tea from Shibui soon

Genmaicha is my favourite tea. I've had it in various places, including Japan. The roasted rice grains soften the tang of the green tea and give it a lovely rounded flavour. I looked at tea shops online around the UK for this and Shibui had the best prices. Their packaging is classy and eco-friendly too. I'll be buying this again. And again...

I was introduced to Genmaicha many many years ago in New York by my Japanese friend . Back in London it was readily available in China Town but suddenly about 10 years ago I couldn't find it anywhere. I was so happy to find Shibui is now stocking it. The tea tastes as good as it always has, maybe even better! It really is one of the most delicious Japanese teas, very light but with a distinct toasty flavour from the roasted grains. And as always, Shibui does the best teas at reasonable price.

The Genmaicha is a lovely tea with a very good balance of roasted rice and green tea - the roasted is not overpowering but just makes it extra tasty.

We love this tea and find it hard to find at a reasonable price in the UK! Great value for money on this website.

I love this Genmaicha tea. Years ago I came across green tea mixed with roasted rice and finished the packet very quickly. I enjoy green tea but occasionally the high tannin content can be too much on an empty stomach. This Genmaicha is not only delicious but is mild enough to drink all afternoon with no after effects. Shibui Genmaicha not only looks great, with its mix of tea, and roasted rice dotted with white puffed rice kernels but has a great balance of taste. Highly recommended.
