I first bought tea from Shibui some years ago, and when I found I was running low, I had no hesitation in returning to Shibui. I drink Dragonwell organic regularly, and am pleased with the quality and taste of this. So much better than tea bags from the supermarket! It was good to see, also, that since my last purchase the old, plastic sachets have been ditched in favour of cardboard tubes.
Having been a lover of jasmine tea for many years I thought we’d tasted them all... I was wrong. I ordered a sample bag and was so blown away I ordered 100 grams straight away. The taste is wonderful and instantly calming. A wonderful loose leaf tea supped best from a Royal Albert Bone china teacup!
Wonderful jasmine aroma, and once made the tea is absolutely delicious. Would buy this over and over again.
This is a lovely delicate tea which you can drink at any time .
Absolutely lovely loose tea and s great price in your sale. Really fresh taste, a cup is never enough I make a pot.
The table below shows the approximate brewing/infusing times for the different tea types.
It assumes around a 2.5 to 3g serving but it is not an exact science so experiment to find the perfect brew time to suit you.
It is best to use freshly boiled water - so if you've got some water left in your kettle from before - pour it out and start again!

If you don't have a fancy kettle which heats the water to different temperatures then a tip to for brewing green & white teas is to put the boiling water into the teapot or mug first and then add the tea. It will have cooled down a bit just by touching the cold teapot. That's what I do anyway...
