Assam Decaf

The item description states "the leaf produces a strong malty cup characteristic of an Assam black". It doesn't. Vague taste of assam at best and I used plenty of leaves.

I was delighted to find I could buy decaffeinated assam tea as I wanted to try to make chai, but I try to avoid caffeine. The tea is delicious!

I have been having Assam for some time and have just started using the Decaf Assam. I find there is very little difference in taste and has the advantage (for us) to be a decaf version. I need to keep the amount of caffeine intake down as much as possible. I would recommend this tea.

Really lovely tea.

Plenty of body and flavour.

Decided to try this as I am having problems with caffeine. Unfortunately the resulting tea, despite being generous with the amount used, was weak and very much lacking in flavour. I suppose you could use a lot more but then instead of having a decaf assam that is twice as expensive as ordinary assam you would then be paying 3-4 times as much.

By a country mile the best Assam decaf I have tasted. I discovered the brand at an amazing beach cafe in Old Hunstanton and have never looked back.
