Vanilla Rooibos

I thought I would try a different Vanilla Rooibos tea, I already buy a version from a company in London. Sadly I did not like this version, it isn't a smooth or as sweet as the one I already drink.

I'm a Rooibos purist and have been for nearly 30 years. But this flavour is so gorgeous I'm converted! I drink it at night and its creamy comforting favour is a great way to wind down for bed. Absolutely recommend.

My favourite afternoon tea is Rooibos with vanilla. I make a big teapot full and keep adding more water keeping it warm on my Aga. This tea has a lovely blend of flavours, the small addition of cornflowers just helps to add to its deliciousness. This was my first order from Shibui and I will be ordering again from them. I love the quality and depth of flavour. I think I prefer my rooibos tea without the vanilla but when I’m wanting something that seems sweeter I will reach for this!

This Vanilla Rooibos is significantly nicer than the one in teabags from a well known brand available in most supermarkets. It tastes indulgent, a real treat.
