My order was received overnight which was unexpected. I was looking for a substitute for Lapsang Souchong which seems to be unavailable. I ordered Dragonwell Lung Ching Organic as the description interested me. It is quite a mild tea. It would probably go very well with afternoon tea. If I was a cake eater, I would be serving it with cake. I will definitely order again.
I am a connoisseur of Green Tea and have been spoiled on the years with great quality from a local tea supplier. I decided to try Shibui, having lost direct contact with my local supplier. The tea is exquisite and as good a quality as I have experienced before and very nicely packaged.
I definitely recommend Shibui - great price, great service and most definitely Great Tea! Many thanks to the Shibui team..
Delicate, floral tea. Very pleasant. Would buy again.
My favourite tea, delicate, tasty and a great great tea. Love the new packaging too.
I’ve recently recieved my first order of Organic Green Tea from the company and I’m really happy with it! I’m not long back from a trip to China where I visited the tea plantation in Hangzhou. I got the taste for green tea there and your tea is exactly the same! Quick delivery too :)
The table below shows the approximate brewing/infusing times for the different tea types.
It assumes around a 2.5 to 3g serving but it is not an exact science so experiment to find the perfect brew time to suit you.
It is best to use freshly boiled water - so if you've got some water left in your kettle from before - pour it out and start again!

If you don't have a fancy kettle which heats the water to different temperatures then a tip to for brewing green & white teas is to put the boiling water into the teapot or mug first and then add the tea. It will have cooled down a bit just by touching the cold teapot. That's what I do anyway...
