Turmeric & Cocoa

Wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s warm and comforting - just the thing on a winter’s evening

It's quite an unusual taste of turmeric, cacao, fennel and other spices. It's the second time I bought it. Very nice at this time of year in particular.

Bought it out of curiousity and definitely will be buying again. It is hard to describe the taste, so go for ingredients (primarily Turmeric). The notes of aniseed and fennel are definitely stronger than the rest of the ingredients.

The turmeric and cocoa tea is an interesting combination of flavours and it tastes great. I also love the simple and stylish packaging. Looking forward to trying more of Shibui's lovely teas.

Bought this on whim but it’s now a daily favourite drink for me. The aroma when the hot water goes on the tea is just Wow!! Light and aromatic to taste too. Definitely make a two serving teapot with this one, one cup is not enough.
