Love vanilla, love Rooibos, love this one!
A really lovely tea with a great flavour. Fast delivery and reasonably priced
Seriously, it's better than all the major brands available, to the point that the partner steals sips when I put it down. If you are looking for a decaf tea after dinner that is like a dessert and a smooth delight this is the tea.
Even though everything from this company is 100% recyclable, I would strongly recommend that they put the recycling label on the plastic look alike bag, this way when costumers recycle it is not considered plastic at the facilities.
I don't normally write reviews but I had an excellent experience with Shibui Tea and thought they deserved a five star review. Their products are very reasonably priced compared to their online competitors. I thought the free sample teabags were a lovely touch. I would definitely order from the company again. My package arrived so quickly, I honestly couldn't be happier. The tea was a gift for a friend so I can't comment on the taste but the sample tea bags they included were delicious.
This is a lovely light and refreshing drink at any time of the day or evening. The vanilla flavour isn’t at all overpowering. Having recently drunk vanilla rooibos in South Africa, it is great to find a supplier of such good quality rooibos here in the U.K.
The table below shows the approximate brewing/infusing times for the different tea types.
It assumes around a 2.5 to 3g serving but it is not an exact science so experiment to find the perfect brew time to suit you.
It is best to use freshly boiled water - so if you've got some water left in your kettle from before - pour it out and start again!

If you don't have a fancy kettle which heats the water to different temperatures then a tip to for brewing green & white teas is to put the boiling water into the teapot or mug first and then add the tea. It will have cooled down a bit just by touching the cold teapot. That's what I do anyway...
