Named honeybush because its bright yellow blossoms smell like honey. It has many similarities with rooibos but it grows wild in small mountain ranges southwest of South Africa's eastern cape.
Ingredients: South African honeybush.
I enjoy this tea a lot. The sweetness is not overpowering nor sickly but seems to enhance the underlying flavours
Technically it is Rooibos, but then again, technically, perhaps better than Rooibos.
Loving this new flavour! Definitely a hint of honey there - a new firm favourite 🤩
Think this will be a favourite and will buy again. It has a slight tang of sweetness and revives energy levels in afternoon
Bought on a whim as I’m a big fan of roobois tea. Never tried it before and wow I was not disappointed! The clue is in the name, a cross between roobois and a sweet aftertone that really tastes honey like. Bag lasts for two cups. Highly recommend
We love rooibos so thought we'd give honeybush a go. To me it tastes like rooibos but sweeter - as if there is a bit of honey added - and in fact a hint of rose too. Delicate and delectable.
A very gentle flavour.
Thought we would try as love Rooibos, so glad we did, it is a wonderful rival, just love it.
This is a more subtle flavour than is cousin Rooibos. Very pleasant but easy to overwhelm the flavours if you a a fan of adding milt to this kind of tea.
I became a tea drinker after I was told I’m intolerant to coffee, we’ve ordered a few different teas from Shibui (vanilla is always ordered) but I wanted to try something different and this is my new favourite.
