Mulled Wine meets tea in our Mulled Spice black tea.

All the Christmassy flavours together with a strong black tea base.

Close all the doors, brew up a cuppa and put your feet up in front of the fire.

Ingredients: black tea, ginger, cardamom seed, orange peel, cinnamon, clove buds, rose petals, natural flavouring, blackberry leaves.

It’s a really lovely spicy blend, perfect for this time of year. I find you need a good heaped spoonful to give it a bit of body. If I’m being super critical, I think the spice blend needs a little more bottom end. I think the cloves and ginger together slightly unbalance it, maybe a touch more cinnamon could help. It gets better I think as it stews slightly as the tannins from the tea help to balance it - so maybe I just need to make it stronger.

All in all though, it’s a great cuppa.

Warming Christmas tea

The mulled spice tea is delicious, all those lovely Christmas flavours in one cup. This has become our daily afternoon treat.
