    Made in the Kukicha style, this is an unusual tea to look at. It is made from the stems and veins of the highest quality Gyokuro and it delivers a spectacular tea for the price. It has a wonderfully unique and delicate sweet flavour.

    Ingredients: Japanese green tea.

    Love it

    Out of all the Japanese tea types I have tried so far, this is my favourite. It's slightly sweet, almost a bit fruity, and it smells as good as it tastes. Also discovered that it's better when brewed at around 70 degrees rather than 80. I will definitely be buying more.

    I don't hate it, but I don't enjoy it either. Perhaps just my personal taste, but I felt it lacked character.

    Excellent

    This is a FAB tea. It makes a flavourful, umami brew with quite pure, sweet, herbal notes to it. Not toasty or spinachy, it's gyokuro taste at a fraction of the price. Stands up to travelling about in a metal thermos on the way to the allotment. It's my go-to afternoon tea, now.
